It is a known practice that the BNL season commences in the second half of the year. While we have planned to tip-off on 21 August, which is ordinarily the period around which the League commences, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the League's decision to safeguard the health and well being of fans, players, everyone connected to our game and the general public will impact on this date...
BNL Bulletin - Volume 3 - STAYING ACTIVE AND HOPEFUL DESPITE THE ODDS
Eleanor Roosevelt, the wife of the 32nd President of the United States of America, lived through the Great Depression and the 2nd World War. During her life, she made many observations about humanity and one that remains as true today as it was then: “I am who I am today because of the choices I made yesterday.”...
BNL Bulletin - Volume 4 - FRED MOSES ADMINISTRATOR OF THE NORTHERN CAPE ZEBRAS
When I received the call to assist my Province with the task
of taking up the Administrator’s position of a basketball
Franchise, for the Northern Cape, it did not dawn on me
that I would still be stuck in the position seven years later.

Coaches are optimistic by nature, but my analysis of the squad I was tasked to make "winners" wasn't wishful thinking. We had ALL the "basketball pieces" necessary for a title.
I met basketball through my U13 provincial Netball coach. She suggested that I was more suited to basketball than netball, that was when I fell in love with this crazy game and I never looked back. It wasn’t long after, that I started officiating, not knowing the amazing journey it would lead me on.
BNL Bulletin - Volume 10 - FUELED BY LOVE OF CARING & HEALING
I am an athlete and an avid lover of anything sports. I began track athletics and excelled at it from as early as grade 1 all through to my Matric year, achieving all that I hoped to in my school years. The urge to try something different crept up on me in my first year of varsity where my love and appreciation for basketball began.
