Game IQ Meets Transition Execution

Egoli Magic Men 75 – 53 Free State Warriors

The Magic locked in on both ends of the court, forcing 24 turnovers and converting them into 35 points — a stat line that speaks volumes. Omphile Noko led the charge with 23 points, while Egoli’s bench poured in 36 to keep the tempo high.

Suns Overheat the Eagles

Tshwane Suns Women 103 – 44 NW Eagles Women

The Suns lit up the scoreboard and ran a defensive clinic. They scored 68 points in the paint, grabbed 31 second-chance points, and forced a jaw-dropping 42 turnovers. Lindiwe Shabangu, Sthando Gaula, and Thando Mbuthuma all dropped 23+ points each.
Points per Possession: 1.06 (WNE only managed 0.45)

Panthers Maul Eagles in Q4

Soweto Panthers Men 82 – 50 NW Eagles Men

After a tight 3 quarters, the Panthers flipped the script in Q4 with a 27–2 burst, closing the game on a dominant 21–0 run. Benjamin Myburgh was the floor general with 22 PTS, 10 AST, and 7 REB.

Eagles Women Redeem Themselves

NW Eagles Women 72 – 55 Soweto Panthers Women

It was all about resilience for Coach Teboho Rakoloti’s squad. Tshepo Mokua dropped 10 points, 7 fouls drawn, and led with a +19 EFF. Eagles turned defense into offense, notching 27 points off turnovers and 50 bench points to seal the bounce-back W.
